    I am a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics and a member of the Vortex Dynamics Research Group in the School of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of St Andrews.

   The other members of the group are Professor D.G. Dritschel, Dr M. Carr , Dr R.K. Scott , Dr C.V. Tran, Dr H. Burgess, Mr L. Hatfield, Mr T. Jougla, and Mr S. Wallace.

   My main research is on geophysical vortex dynamics.
